Your Doctor in Haidhausen

Haidhausen (81671, 81675, 81677) runs from Wiener Platz and Weißenburger Platz in the north down to Ostbahnhof and Rosenheimer Platz. The "Franzosenviertel" around Metzstraße and Pariser Straße gives the district its nickname and its café culture.

Home visits suit the dense Altbau housing of Haidhausen especially well — stairs, inner courtyards, and small flats are all familiar ground. Our physician brings what is needed in one bag.

Nearby: the München Klinik Bogenhausen and Klinikum rechts der Isar (TUM) for acute needs.

How We Get to Haidhausen

Haidhausen lies directly east of the Isar and is reachable from the Old Town in 10 to 15 minutes, from other districts in 15 to 25 minutes. The main arteries are Rosenheimer Straße (east-west), Einsteinstraße, and Prinzregentenstraße. For addresses in the French Quarter around Wiener Platz and Pariser Platz we use Preysingstraße and Weißenburger Straße — the narrow period streets require calm, precise stopping.

By public transport, Haidhausen is served by S-Bahn lines S1 to S8 (Rosenheimer Platz, Ostbahnhof), U4/U5 (Max-Weber-Platz), and tram line 25 (Wiener Platz, Max-Weber-Platz). The Ostbahnhof, with S-Bahn, underground (U5), and trams, is a major hub. Parking is almost everywhere in resident zones — we stop at loading zones or use the underground garage at Gasteig and walk the final stretch.

Typical Concerns On Site

Haidhausen, with its mix of families, creative professionals, and long-term tenants, presents a broad case spectrum. We particularly frequently treat flu and respiratory infections here, which spread quickly through the dense period-building environment; families with children often book a house call to treat the whole household together — one appointment instead of multiple clinic visits.

Also frequent: gastroenteritis, which can arise from the lively dining scene around Wiener Platz and Bordeauxplatz, and migraine and tension headache, where early on-site treatment with IV fluids and a triptan can arrest a severe attack.

Clinics around Haidhausen

Immediately adjacent lies the Klinikum rechts der Isar of the Technical University of Munich — university-level maximum care with a 24/7 emergency department and all clinical specialties. To the north, Klinikum Bogenhausen of München Klinik is reachable in minutes via Prinzregentenstraße. If inpatient admission is needed, we coordinate it directly during the house call.
