Neuhausen (80634–80639, shared with Nymphenburg) is a vibrant mixed-use district around Rotkreuzplatz, with a strong Mittelstand character, many young families, and long-term residents in charming Altbau flats along Nymphenburger Straße and Volkartstraße.
A house call suits elderly patients living alone, parents with sick children, and anyone caught between the responsibilities of work and health. Our physician can be at most Neuhausen addresses within an hour.

Neuhausen lies west of the city centre between Maxvorstadt and Nymphenburg Castle. From the centre we reach the district in 10 to 20 minutes. The main arteries are Nymphenburger Straße running east-west, Landshuter Allee as part of the Mittlerer Ring, and Dachauer Straße on the northern edge. From Pasing we use Arnulfstraße along the railway; from Schwabing we arrive via Leonrodstraße.
Public transport: the U1 metro (stations Rotkreuzplatz, Maillingerstraße, Stiglmaierplatz) crosses Neuhausen east-west. Tram lines 12, 16, 17, and 20/21 run along Nymphenburger Straße and Leonrodstraße. Bus routes 53, 144, and 153 cover the residential streets. Parking around Rotkreuzplatz and Nymphenburger Straße is resident-permit regulated on weekdays; we use short-term stops directly at the entrance. In the Altbau courtyards around Volkartstraße and Winthirstraße we carry equipment on foot where no elevator is available.
Neuhausen's vibrant mix of young families, long-term Altbau residents, and working professionals shapes our caseload. We frequently treat febrile infections — the flu and cold guide explains when a clinic visit is warranted. We assess respiratory function and oxygen saturation and decide whether symptomatic home treatment suffices or further workup is needed.
For working parents we often see sick children who spike a morning fever and cannot secure a same-day paediatric slot. And we regularly treat urinary tract infections: urine dipstick, midstream sample for bacterial culture, and antibiotic prescription if indicated — all part of our house-call kit.
For orientation: in the immediate neighbourhood lies the Rotkreuzklinikum München (Nymphenburger Straße 163) with its interdisciplinary emergency department — a private-status hospital with broad specialty coverage. To the north, the Schön Klinik München Schwabing is relevant for orthopaedics and internal medicine. West of Neuhausen, Helios Klinikum München West offers additional acute care in Pasing. For university-level maximum care, Klinikum Großhadern of LMU lies to the southwest. Should inpatient admission become necessary during a house call, we coordinate the referral and hand findings directly to the receiving hospital.
