We reach Sendling from the Old Town in 15 to 25 minutes. Main arteries are Lindwurmstraße and Plinganserstraße (north-south) and Aidenbachstraße/Thalkirchner Straße in the south. From western districts we use the Mittlerer Ring via Heckenstallerstraße; for Mittersendling and Obersendling, Boschetsrieder Straße.
Public transport: U3/U6 (Implerstraße, Harras, Partnachplatz); S-Bahn lines S7 and S20 stop at Harras and Siemenswerke. Tram lines 18 and 25 cross the district east-west. Parking in Mittersendling and Obersendling is usually unproblematic; in the denser areas around Harras we use loading zones or the car park at Harras-Center.
Sendling — with its mix of traditional working-class and rising family middle class — presents a broad spectrum. We most frequently treat flu and respiratory infections here, especially in the colder half of the year when families with children are disproportionately affected. A house call lets us treat everyone in a multi-person household in a single visit.
Also frequent: back pain and lumbago — classic in physical work or long desk-bound office days — and gastroenteritis, which we treat with IV fluids and symptomatic medication right at home. This spares parents and children the trip to overcrowded emergency departments.
On the northern edge of the district, on Ziemssenstraße, lies the LMU Munich Clinic, Innenstadt campus — university-level maximum care with an emergency department. München Klinik Thalkirchner Straße specialises in dermatology and infectious diseases. To the southwest lies München Klinik Harlaching, further southwest the LMU Klinikum Großhadern. For admission we coordinate and transmit findings directly to the receiving department.
